Old batteries and old devices do not belong in the household waste! Through a recycling process, valuable resources can be recovered and reused. In addition, they often contain pollutants that must not be released into the environment under any circumstances. Consumers are obliged to take batteries to a suitable collection point in the municipality or to hand them in at a retailer. They can be returned there free of charge.   • Hg: Product contains mercury
  • Pb: Product contains lead

Electronic Devices Act

Old electronic devices do not belong in household waste. As the owner of an old electrical or electronic device, you are legally obliged to dispose of it separately from unsorted household waste. The regulation affects all electronic and electrical devices, from electric toothbrushes to home solariums Washing machines to digital cameras, no matter how old. The separate collection of these devices is intended, on the one hand, to ensure the reuse and recycling of valuable parts of this device and, on the other hand, to help avoid negative consequences for the environment as a result of disposal. There are free collection points in your area to return old devices. You also have the option of selling all electrical or electronic devices with an edge length of less than 25 centimeters to retailers. But teleropa is also obliged to take back old electrical devices.

How does teleropa fulfill the obligation to take back old devices?

We will provide you with professional treatment, recycling and disposal free of charge in accordance with legal requirements.   1. Please ensure that you are responsible for deleting all personal data stored on the old device to be disposed of.
  2. Please also ensure that used batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the old device have been separated from this device before handing them over.
Furthermore, the following information must be strictly observed:
  • The old devices taken back can no longer be returned to you!
  • In the event of a return, there will be neither a refund of the purchase price nor a refund of the residual value!
  • The old device is recycled in accordance with the requirements of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)!
